The city of Aurora Office of International and Immigrant Affairs has received the 2019 Outstanding Government Resource Award from World Denver on behalf of the U.S. State Department International Visitor Leadership Program. The award recognizes the city’s outstanding work in the leadership program’s professional exchange initiatives.
The award was presented at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. World Denver, which is a nonprofit organization that brings about 600 international visitors to Colorado a year through the program, recognized Aurora’s commitment to making the city a welcoming place for international businesses, government delegations and visitors.
