National Western Stock Show Returns

Save the Date

The National Western Stock Show (NWSS) will return after a hiatus in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The NWSS is set to begin on January 8, 2022. The event will run for a total of two weeks at the National Western Complex in Denver. Dozens of events will take place every day from January 8 to 23.

One of the key highlights for the NWSS in 2022 is the grand opening of the Historic Stockyards. Rodeos, mutton busting, horse shows, shopping, livestock shows, shopping, and more will all be a part of the 2022 National Western Stock Show. Another wonderful event of the NWSS is the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza.

It features Mexican-style bull riding, bareback riding, trick roping, Mariachi music, side saddle riders, and the Portuguese-style bullfights all choreographed by Jerry Diaz, a fourth-generation champion charro. The Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza is sponsored by Hutchison Western and Frontier Airlines.
